This week's deal activity was dominated by two large Austin rounds: Ares Interactive's $70M Series A for immersive gaming and Good Culture's $55M growth round for cultured dairy. Meanwhile, climate tech and critical mineral recovery drew smaller early-stage investments.

Austin Funding Activity

Ares Interactive, a developer of immersive gaming experiences and interactive entertainment, raised $70M in a Series A round led by General Catalyst with participation from Niccolo De Masi. $70M raised to date.
