Happy Sunday!
Texas has spent years collecting corporate headquarters. Now it’s collecting stock listings, too. This week, the new Texas Stock Exchange landed its first corporate primary listings, with Energy Transfer, Sunoco, SunocoCorp and USA Compression Partners announcing plans to move over from the New York Stock Exchange in October. Together, the four companies represent nearly $100 billion in market value.
It’s a nice backdrop for another busy week of Texas dealmaking, including a $3 billion round for The Boring Company, a $500 million Series A for Austin’s Fab2 and a healthy slate of M&A across the state.
This week’s deal list follows analysis of a recent Fortrea acquisition that includes a lab in Austin, a pharmacology unit in San Antonio, and a biospecimen storage facility in Pflugerville.
