Austin picked up another No. 1 this week. A new LendingTree analysis named it America’s top “boomtown” for the third straight year, with Austin leading the country’s 50 largest metros in housing growth and the increase in new business applications. Houston, Dallas and San Antonio also landed in the top 15. The ranking uses 2023–2024 federal data, so it’s a backward-looking snapshot, but a pretty good one of the growth that continues to shape the Texas business landscape.
